Cloth diapers.
We're going for it.
D has always been all for it,
but then again who is going
to be changing 99% of diapers?
You guessed it. Me. So I had
to do a little research before
jumping on board.
Mom found this New Zealand company
that sells a diaper kit for babes called
Real Nappies.
They receive awesome reviews and are
what they use in hospitals in New Zealand.
The kit comes with 100+ items and guarantees
to last from birth to potty training - for 2 kids!
I'm hoping it'll save us some money
in the long run...and maybe some
landfill space too.
OMG, who am I?
I even make my own granola.
Don't worry, I plan to continue
wearing a bra.
Just kidding. Well not about the
bra part, but I think it is important
for us all to do our part.
The "nappies" consist of a
basic cloth insert with a cover.
I really like that they have
a disposable/flushable liner
for poo. I know, we're now
talking poo on the blog.
Times they are a changing.
Any thoughts or anyone have
experience with cloth diapers?

You all are very cute in your baby process. Don't ever count out a disposable "relapse" during times of "tummy trouble" (both you and/or little papoose).
ReplyDeleteOf course you know there is an increasing movement for raising totally "diaper-less" babies ~ http://www.goddessunplugged.com/articles/diapers.htm
"Millions, if not billions, of women around the world, through the ages, have not used diapers."
Don't tell Dr. D.
That is all I have to say about that :)
ooxxoo
luckily i have a few packs of disposables from my shower for backup ;)
ReplyDeleteLet the rest of us know if they work... granted I won't have to worry about this stuff for a few more years lol.
ReplyDeleteps we need more tummy pictures.
Yes let us know how it goes!
